We're Tying the Knot

The story began just over 8 years ago with a simple swipe right on the 27th of May 2018.

At the time, Mattea was preparing for her final A-Level exams, while Luke was still recovering from Liverpool's heartbreaking defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

​

A few weeks later, they went on their first date, where a spilled drink quickly became the first of many moments that would fill their relationship with laughter.

​

What started out as a conversation soon became a friendship, and that friendship grew into the love that they share today. Through every adventure, challenge, and milestone, they've grown together, supported one another, and created memories they'll cherish forever.

One of their most unforgettable memories came in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, where, after a long walk to reach the perfect spot, they got engaged. It was the perfect start to the next chapter of their journey.

They are excited not only for the adventures that lie ahead but also for the opportunity to continue growing together as partners, best friends, and soon, husband and wife.
